Stud Dogs

To be declared "fit for breeding" by the Deutsch Kurzhaar Verband, our stud dogs have been judged for performance through tests according to the standards of the DKV or the JGHV and...

1) passed a performance test including water work (Solms, HZP, or VGP),

2) been evaluated at least Good "G" in a Zuchtschau,

3) been declared hip dysplasia free "HD0 or HD Frei", and

4) passed a sharpness test, according to the regulations of the JGHV, during hunting.

Orson KS vom Pöttsiepen
Orson, a black-ticked, noble DK, can only be described as "a bold, hard-driving, bird-finding machine" with excellent water work ability.

Basko KS von der Jydebek
Basko is a hard-pointing DK who has an excellent nose and is able to scent from a great distance. In the water, he is as equally hard-driving as he is in the field. He reproduces his phenotype. Basko resides in Germany.

Graf KS vom Borsumer Hof
Graf, a proven sire from the Uphauser Kolk blood line, excels in the field and has exceptional tracking abilities which he passes on to many of his get.

Emanuel vom Steinwitten
Manny is very biddable with a pleasing temperament. In the field, he points hard and has a desirable natural retrieve. He has sired AKC champion and field pointed puppies.

Chance KS vom Riverwoods
Chance can only be described with one word DESIRE. He is the perfect combination of desire and trainability. His systematic and hard driving field search has earned him two 4hs and the same excellent work ethic has carried over to all aspects of his performance and training.

Utz is an excellent hunting dog. He is pointed in the AKC show system from the puppy classes (6-9 months), having won over adult dogs. Utz has a prize 1 Derby. He is also started on agility obstacles as well; he is very obedient.
